Storywalk
Long reads, played like a game.
What it is
Storywalk takes a legendary 1986 Bell Labs talk about why some people do great work - and turns it into an 8-bit game you walk through, one idea at a time.
You make predictions before each idea lands, keep streaks, earn XP that compounds, and hear the story narrated as you go.
Why I made it
Long-form reading is where good intentions go to die. Everyone bookmarks the classics; almost nobody finishes them.
I built Storywalk for restless attention spans - mine included. If a game can hold your focus for an hour, a great idea deserves the same machinery.
What it gets you
You actually finish - and remember - a talk most people only save for later.
Prediction before reveal means you engage with every idea instead of skimming past it. The XP is fake. The retention is not.
